Allen Beydoun is a longtime business executive, community leader, and passionate advocate for creating opportunities that help people reach their full potential.
With nearly two decades of executive leadership experience at United Wholesale Mortgage (UWM), where he serves as Chief Client Officer, Allen has built his career around developing people, building lasting relationships, and creating a culture of service. His leadership philosophy is centered on hard work, positivity, accountability, and making a meaningful impact on others.
Allen brings that same passion to his role as a Board Member of Walk Run Play, supporting the foundation’s mission to help individuals overcome physical barriers and gain greater mobility, independence, confidence, and opportunity.
For Allen, the mission is deeply personal. As the father of a son who is an above-the-knee amputee and has gone on to compete as a collegiate athlete, he has seen firsthand what is possible when people are given the right resources, support, and belief.
Allen and his wife, Dalal, are the proud parents of three sons. Together, they believe that physical challenges should never define a person’s potential—and that everyone deserves the opportunity to walk, run, play, and pursue what’s possible
Calvin Sullins is the Head Coach of the University of Michigan Adaptive Track & Field Program, where he is dedicated to helping athletes with physical disabilities reach their highest potential both in sport and in life. At Michigan, he has coached athletes to the international stage, including a medal-winning performance at the 2024 World Para Athletics Championships and qualification for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. He is passionate about creating opportunities for athletes of all abilities by expanding access to adaptive sports and fostering an environment where individuals can thrive.
Calvin joined the Walk Run Play Board because he believes mobility is life-changing. He is committed to supporting the organization's mission of removing financial barriers to prosthetic care, knowing that access to the right equipment can open doors to independence, confidence, recreation, and competitive athletics. Through his work in adaptive sports and service on the board, Calvin is honored to help create opportunities that allow individuals with limb loss to pursue their goals without limitation.
Dr. Turfe is a dual board-certified PM&R and Pain Medicine physician at the Detroit Medical Center. He earned his medical degree from the Michigan State College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency in PM&R and fellowship in Pain Medicine at the Detroit Medical Center. He is an Assistant Professor at the Wayne State University School of Medicine and serves as faculty for the PM&R Residency and Pain Medicine Fellowship.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Turfe is an avid fan of Detroit sports, enjoys trying new local restaurants, and visiting the Detroit Institute of Arts, where he favors exhibits from the Impressionism era.
Dalal Beydoun is an occupational therapist, mother of three boys, and co-founder of Walk Run Play, a nonprofit dedicated to helping people overcome physical barriers, gain greater independence, and experience the freedom to live active, fulfilling lives.
After earning her undergraduate degree in Behavioral and Health Science, Dalal went on to earn her Master’s in Occupational Therapy. Her career in acute care and rehabilitation gave her firsthand experience working with individuals facing life-changing physical challenges and helping them regain mobility, confidence, and independence. Those experiences became the foundation for her passion to serve others beyond the clinical setting.
Today, Dalal brings together her professional expertise, personal experiences, and commitment to giving back through Walk Run Play. The foundation works to help people access prosthetic limbs and adaptive resources, while creating opportunities through fundraising, community partnerships, adaptive sports programs, advocacy, and outreach.
At the heart of Dalal’s work is a simple belief: physical challenges should never define what someone is capable of achieving. Through Walk Run Play, her mission is to help people move forward with greater confidence, independence, and opportunity—to walk, run, play, and live life without limits.
